I was GLOWING when I opened up a box this afternoon, and inside, saw this gorgeous handmade fairy princess set for my daughter (she'll be 6 months old @ Halloween.). Beautifully made, every detail is just perfect. Rebekah is just so talented, and an absolute pleasure to work with. She took a rough idea in my head, and turned it into something magical. Excellent Etsy seller!

I've been blogged!

My day was pretty sad this morning when I found out through another tutu seller on etsy.com, (thank you!) that there is someone trying to sell my item on ebay. What a theiving fraud! I don't know if it's the same person as last time, but I'm mad either way. It's tough to be a designer, and have others be disrespectful. :)

Flower Girl Cuties!

These two angels look amazing in their matching RoseBud Tutus. This design was inspired by the bride, and oh how well it turned out. Thanks to Katie, their mom for sending over these cute pictures!

Will 1000Markets compete with Etsy.com?

It's truly up in the air at this point. I have not seen a tremendous amount of traffic from the new www.DanburyLane.1000markets.com site, this is true. However, I absolutely love the community feeling 1k provides, and it's focus on sellers creativity.

So here's to a day sometime in the near future where people everywhere will log on to both sites and view my collection, looking for high quality and soft princess tutus that their little ladies can explore their immaginations in, and look super cute!

Flowers and more flowers

Of all the great materials to create my tutu designs with, I am most inspired by flowers. There is nothing better than making that idea in my mind turn into a reality right before my eyes. I realize now that the most driving source of inspiration comes from nature, how great!
